Welcome to “The Sailor’s Home” A place for ex Merchant Seamen and their friends. Most people feel an affinity with ships and the sea and that’s all that is needed to become part of The Sailor’s Home community, we hope you will make it a regular place to stop over, have a yarn and make new friends. To see and read all Categories and Posts it is now necessary to Login, or Register... this is a simple formality that takes only a couple of minutes, once registered you can reply to posts, or start a new topic … it doesn’t have to be about ships, we all have opinions on something and The Sailor’s Home will create new categories to serve diverse topics; maybe you would like to become a moderator and take an active role in administering the forum? The main criteria is to have an interesting board that will bring people together to exchange ideas, opinions and generally talk about things that maybe of interest to others, create a place to go when you want to be with like minded people or just make new friends from around the world. Whatever! Everyone is welcome at The Sailor’s Home, slip off your shoes, relax and enjoy yourself as a member of this community.
